We made it to Harrogate, I can’t believe it. Having been offered a last-minute spot at the Country Living magazine fair, it seemed too good to turn down. Even by my nutso standards of flying by the seat of your pants, this adventure was bonkers.
So, it’s all been happening at AlaraApothecary. Where have you been Alara, you haven’t posted for a whole week, a desperate nation asks (OK, 2 people, but it’s the thought that counts 🙂 Why the pictures of rainbows and puppies? Well, I got a last-minute chance to exhibit
Woke up this morning to find that I’d suddenly moved to the Arctic circle. What’s that about? Just because winter is approaching, there’s no need for the weather to go all polar bear-friendly like that. Not impressed. So, what have I been up to?
Best story of last week? The 69 year old man who has gone to court to assert his right to identify as a 49-year old because being 69 is seriously affecting his chances on Tinder. He already has 7 children, you’d think he wants to now give it a rest, seriously. He is very much my hero- I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me earlier.
Actually having some leisure time to browse other blogs and magazines feels like an amazing gift at the moment- October was probably the most stressful month I’ve experienced in the last 3-4 years workwise, no contest. Trying to prepare for Christmas is ridiculously intense- behind all those lovely yuletide sets and pretty decorations, I can assure you that there is an office full of people teetering on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
